Class transfers at your event

Class moves are automatic. A couple moves up a class when its promotion points reach the class’s limit, and that happens when a competition it danced in is closed. The federation can also move a couple by hand. You do not approve or run class moves.

For you this means two things:

• Close your competition once results are final, or your dancers’ points and class moves do not happen. See Results, points and rankings.
• Registration checks the class for you, from each class’s Federation Class. If a dancer says they are in the wrong class, see When a dancer says they are in the wrong class.
