Organizer
You are an event organizer if you are the person (or team) responsible for setting up and running a dance competition or event using the Manager app.
This role hub covers two types of organizer responsibilities:
- Event-specific work (the left column in Organizer-owned steps) — Configuring and running your specific event
- Organizational work (if applicable) — Managing your affiliation with a federation or school/club, if that applies to you
Not sure if you’re an organizer? Start with Finding Your Role.
Just starting out? Go to Getting Started instead of jumping into the steps below.
Organizer-owned steps
- Account creation
- Getting a license
- Applying for a school/club
- Joining a federation
- Registration for event
- Creating and getting a ranking
- Age transfer coordination
- Class transfer coordination
- Renew license
- Retiring and handover
Note: If you’re running an independent event not affiliated with a federation or school, several of these steps (2-4, 6-10) may not apply to you. Focus on Account creation and Registration for event, then use the Manager Guide for the rest.
Dedicated feature sections
- Manager Guide — The app where you configure and run events
