Organizer

You are an event organizer if you are the person (or team) responsible for setting up and running a dance competition or event using the Manager app.

This role hub covers two types of organizer responsibilities:

  • Event-specific work (the left column in Organizer-owned steps) — Configuring and running your specific event
  • Organizational work (if applicable) — Managing your affiliation with a federation or school/club, if that applies to you

Not sure if you’re an organizer? Start with Finding Your Role.

Just starting out? Go to Getting Started instead of jumping into the steps below.

Organizer-owned steps

  1. Account creation
  2. Getting a license
  3. Applying for a school/club
  4. Joining a federation
  5. Registration for event
  6. Creating and getting a ranking
  7. Age transfer coordination
  8. Class transfer coordination
  9. Renew license
  10. Retiring and handover

Note: If you’re running an independent event not affiliated with a federation or school, several of these steps (2-4, 6-10) may not apply to you. Focus on Account creation and Registration for event, then use the Manager Guide for the rest.

Dedicated feature sections

  1. Manager Guide — The app where you configure and run events
  2. Registration and check-in — Event participant registration and check-in workflows
