• Manager: When a dancer cancels a paid registration and registers again, the Payment button on the registration now lists every payment made for it, the earlier ones marked Earlier payment, each with its own Refund; before, only the latest payment was shown, so a payment made twice could not be found or refunded from the registration (see Paid twice after cancelling)

• Manager: Print dancer lists on Statistics and Check-in prints every club’s dancers with their classes, start numbers and a box to tick on arrival, for the entrance when the network is down or to hand to the clubs. Pick a day to list only that day’s dancers, and tick One page per organization for a page per club (see Dancer lists)
• Manager: Download dancers (CSV) and Download organizations (CSV) on the dancer lists give every dancer’s date of birth and what each dancer and club has paid and still owes, so clubs can ask their dancers to pay back the fees (see Downloading the lists)
• Public: Clubs can see their dancers for each day of an event. The new By day view under Administration → Registration lists each dancer once per day with the classes they dance that day, and Export CSV downloads the list. This helps a club that pays a per-day fee for its dancers to collect it from them. The days come from the event’s schedule, so the lists appear once the organizer has published it (see Dancers per day)

🛠️ Improvements

• Federation: The class rule editor can add a round before the first round, such as an unjudged presentation or warm-up: set Which rounds to Before the first round and the rule adds that round to the classes and sizes it is for. Rounds this hits and Example show the added round first, and rules that already add such a round open with the choice picked (see A round before the first round)
• Manager: A class whose short letter is one of the federation’s class codes is now linked to that Federation Class when you create, rename or split it, so the federation’s age, level and round rules reach it without picking the class by hand; before, only classes created by importing a file were linked (see Step 1: Create classes)
• Manager: The diploma guide has a downloadable A4 template and sample printout for designing your own pre-printed diploma paper: they show where each line is printed and which corner to keep free for the Vote4Dance mark (see Designing your own diploma paper)
• App: If you bought Premium on the Vote4Dance website, Cancel subscription under Profile → Settings now opens your subscription in your browser, where you can change or cancel it; before, it only pointed to the App Store or Play Store, which do not list subscriptions bought on the website. Premium bought in the app is still cancelled in the App Store or Play Store (see Cancel Premium)

  🛠️ Improvements

• Federation: Class rule Findings now report rules for a category, level or age group the division no longer has (Deleted value) and rules whose settings cannot be read (Cannot be read), which are skipped when rounds are made. Both have a Switch off button that keeps the rule saved but stops it applying; you can switch it on again in the rule editor. A rule whose settings are not valid can no longer be saved (see Findings)
• Manager: The printed schedule now shows the time each round is planned to start, also with Group by classes on; a new Show round times option leaves them out (see Printing)
• Public: In the lists of events, an event that runs over the end of a month is now listed under the month it starts in, the same date its card shows; before, an event from 28 October to 1 November was listed under November

  🛠️ Improvements

• Public: A published event’s page now has an address made from its name, such as vote4dance.com/public/event/snow-ball-2026, instead of a number. Links, QR codes and e-mails with the old numbered address keep working and open the same page. E-mails, payment pages and the app now link to the readable address, and a shared link shows the event’s name and picture either way. While an event is Hidden its page keeps the numbered address; the readable one follows the event’s name and date until you publish, and renaming a published event does not change it (see Step 2: Event status)

  🛠️ Improvements

• Manager, Supervisor: Under each judge’s name on the Panels tab of Judges, the rounds and minutes now count only this competition; the “(N in other competitions)” note is gone. Seats in the event’s other competitions still count when checking overlaps, rounds per day and breaks (see Panels)
• Event page: Helpers with Check-in or Café & sales access now see their Registration or Café & sales tile before the event opens, so they can find their way in before the day (see Getting a helper in before the day)
• Check-in: On a phone the Scan button is an icon, so the search box keeps room for its hint, and the arrived tag and country flag stay on the same line as the person’s name (see Check-in on a phone)
• Check-in: The cookie notice no longer hides the last card on a person’s page; you can scroll it into view above the notice

• Scrutineer (Beta): Add earlier judges on the Judges page lists the judges of your earlier events and, once you have run an event in the federation before, of its other events, so you tick them instead of searching for each one; one click picks the whole panel of a recent event (see Judges from earlier events)

🛠️ Improvements

• Federation: Statistics follow your federation’s season instead of the calendar year. With a season starting 1 September, “this season” runs from 1 September to 31 August, and Entries per season is labelled by season, such as 2025/2026 (see The season)
• Federation: Licences with no season, such as those checked against your federation’s own member register, now count on Statistics; before, the licence figures stayed at 0 when all your licences were of that kind (see The season)
• Federation: Classes that did not fill on Statistics only counts classes at competitions that have already been danced, out of the classes danced so far; before, every class at a competition still to come counted as not filled (see The calendar)
• Federation: A Season start (MM-DD) that is not a real date, such as 02-30 or 9-01, is no longer saved; a message says how to write it (see Before the season: set the rules)
• Public: On a phone held upright, the schedule shows the time each round is planned to start where the block number used to be, so you no longer need to turn the phone sideways to see it (see Times on your phone)
• Public and App: In the schedule, finished blocks and the notes above the block that is dancing now are grey, so the current block stands out; the green dot stays (see Finished blocks turn grey)
• Public and App: Once a day is under way, finished blocks above the two most recent ones fold away; Show earlier blocks at the top brings them back, and the choice is remembered for the event. Blocks still waiting for results never fold away (see Earlier blocks fold away)
• Public: The schedule has a How the schedule works link to the new Following the schedule guide
• Manager, Supervisor: Searching for a judge to add waits until you stop typing, so a few quick searches no longer stop with “You have searched for people many times in a short while.” (see An existing account)
• Manager, Supervisor: On the Panels tab of Judges, a panel with more judges or trainee judges than it wants, such as “2/1”, now shows its count in red, just like a panel that is short; hover over a red count to see what is wrong, such as “More than wanted: 1 × Judge” (see Panels)
• Manager, Supervisor: A panel added with New panel on the Panels tab of Judges keeps the number of judges it was created with; before, a panel whose Seats wanted you never changed could switch, for example from 5 to 3, once most of the other panels had 3 judges (see A panel’s settings)
• Federation: A finding that covers many rules or classes can now be marked as intended; before, Mark as intended failed for such a finding and nothing was saved (see Findings)
• Federation: Searching for a person under User when you add or edit a licence now waits until you stop typing, and a search that cannot run shows why instead of an empty list. Federation Managers, who add and edit licences, can now search for the person too, and federation staff can search far more often before being asked to wait a minute (see Add a license manually)
• Federation: When you add or edit a licence, Save asks you to pick a person from the list under User; before, a name you typed without picking it was sent in place of the person (see Add a license manually)
• Federation: Roles & access shows the staff list and the search box for adding staff to Administrators and Owners, who manage staff; Viewers and Managers see a note saying so instead of an empty list (see Invitation flow)

  🛠️ Improvements

• Manager, School/Club: A dancer who starts paying online but does not finish no longer shows up as Cancelled in the event’s registrations or in the club’s list; the entry stays hidden until it is paid, and an abandoned payment is removed within the hour (see Registration statuses)
• School/Club: In the club’s registrations, By dancer no longer shows Yes under Payment for a dancer whose entries are all cancelled (see Follow up and pay)
• Manager, Supervisor: A judge on a whole floor and on one of its sections is no longer warned about being on two panels at the same time when the schedule runs a few minutes over; those rounds run one after the other. Two sections of the same floor are still checked (see Problems with the panels)
• Manager, Supervisor: On the Panels tab of Judges, judges are listed by letter, then by name, as on the Judges tab, so a temporary letter per hall groups them while you build the panels (see Panels)
• Manager, Supervisor: Panel names can contain spaces again, and dragging panels to change their order no longer stops working after you rename a panel with Enter (see A panel’s settings)

• App: Tap to Pay on iPhone — desk staff take contactless cards, Apple Pay and other digital wallets right on their iPhone, with no card reader, in version 1.13.0 of the app; turn it on once from the event’s Tap to Pay on iPhone card (see Tap to Pay on iPhone)
• App: Sell from the phone — add products, then pay with Tap to Pay on iPhone or Cash; the result shows Paid, Declined or Timed out, with Try another card after a decline (see Selling from the phone)
• App: A card payment that is declined e-mails the customer a receipt saying nothing was charged, and notifies the staff member who started the sale (see Receipts)
• App: On Android the same feature is called Card payments on this phone; it needs Android 13 or later with developer options turned off, and an older phone offers cash sales only (see On an Android phone)
• Check-in: Take a card on the till hands the sale to a staff member’s phone by QR code (see Taking a card from the web till)
• Federation: The class rules of a discipline are shown in groups: rules that do exactly the same thing are one row, with where it applies and how many classes it reaches, such as “1 saved rule · reaches 15 of 156 classes”. Flat list shows every rule as before (see The rules list)
• Federation: New Findings tab on the class rules, and a Class rule findings page under Structure that checks every discipline. They report copies that differ, gaps in the round sizes, rules no class reaches, rules that never take effect and round conditions that do the opposite of what they say; you can answer a finding or mark it as intended with a reason (see Findings and Across the federation)
• Federation: Reviewing a finding shows the rules involved, who it touched and what was intended, with a recommended answer and a before and after per class (see Reviewing a finding)
• Federation: New By class tab on the class rules: pick a class and a number of competitors to see every rule in the order it is read, which applied, which did not fire and why, the rounds the manager will create, and the classes that fall back to the built-in ladder (see Check a class)
• Federation: Merge replaces copies of the same rule with one rule. Vote4Dance first checks every active and draft class at 1 to 200 competitors and merges nothing if a single round would change. Groups that cover a patchwork of levels and age groups are merged in blocks, and Merge all safe groups merges every group that passes in one go, for a discipline or for the whole federation. A merge cannot be undone (see Merging copies)
• Federation: A Default ladder for a discipline, set from row 0 of the class rules: the round sizes and names, in the federation’s language, that classes get when no other rule gives them, and optionally for classes with sizes but no names and for classes above their largest round (see Default ladder)

🛠️ Improvements

• School/Club: People join a club only by pressing Join organization; club administrators can no longer add members themselves. The join window now lists what the dancer agrees to share with the club and its federations, and Permissions shows members’ full email addresses again (see Club administration)
• Manager: The Registrations tab opens on Preliminary and Approved registrations together instead of only Preliminary, and a notice above the list counts the registrations still preliminary, says how to approve them, and offers Show only these (see Registration statuses)
• Manager: The Registrations tab shows an Organization column with the club each entry represents, with sorting and a club filter, when the event’s registrations carry clubs. To leave room for Status and Payment, long class and club names are shortened (hover to see them in full) and the Date column uses a shorter date, or is hidden on narrower screens (see The Registration page)
• Manager: The cancelled tag on the Organizations tab only appears for entries that were paid before they were cancelled, and counts only those, so it points at what may need refunding (see The Registration page)
• Manager: Schedule conflicts hides tight transitions between a floor and its sections, such as a final on the whole floor followed by a first round on section A, so the changes of hall stand out; overlaps are always listed. Untick Hide tight transitions within the same hall to see them all (see Conflicts)
• Manager: Also flag tight transitions under now lists gaps up to the minutes you choose, up to 60, instead of stopping at five minutes (see Conflicts)
• Manager, Supervisor: On the Panels tab of Judges, drag a panel’s column left or right in Panel order to change the order of the panels, for example to move a panel you added later next to the ones it belongs with (see Panel order and running order)
• Manager, Supervisor: A new panel shows how many judges it has out of how many it wants, such as “0/3”, as soon as it is created, instead of only once a round uses it (see Panels)
• Federation: Member check now asks you to choose the dancer’s club before Check. All clubs is gone: checking every club took too long and ended in “Failed to load data” (see Check a member number)
• Federation: Editing a class rule is a page of its own, with Applies to, When, Change, how many classes the rule Reaches, an Example class and which other rules set the same value (see The rule editor)
• Federation: Round conditions of class rules are set in plain words, such as The final or Every round except the final, with a strip showing the rounds the rule hits. Older rules keep doing what they did, and the Does the opposite finding lets you choose whether to keep that or make them do what the words say (see Round conditions in plain words)

  🛠️ Improvements

• Manager, Supervisor: Renaming a judge panel to a name another panel in the event already uses now says so right in the panel’s pop-up and keeps what you typed, instead of only showing “Could not save the panels” (see A panel’s settings)
• Manager, Supervisor, School/Club, Federation: When you search for a person to add as a judge, as staff or as a member, a match on their name shows a shortened e-mail address, such as j•••@g•••.com, so you can tell people with the same name apart. To find someone by e-mail, type their whole address; part of an address no longer finds anyone. Club and federation admins still see the full address of their own members in search results (see Adding judges)
• Manager, School/Club, Federation: The lists of judges, event users and club members show the same shortened e-mail address instead of the full one. Invitations still reach the person’s full address (see Judges)
• Manager, School/Club, Federation: Adding people you picked from a search is limited to 60 an hour
• Manager: Importing a WDSF competition with Search WDSF API on the Classes page now fills in both partners’ names for couples, and importing it again updates the teams instead of adding another class with a second copy of them
• Manager: Uploading a couple’s result with marks to WDSF now includes the rounds of couples who started in a later round
• Manager: The Medals list under Statistics names each club as it is written on the event’s entries, so two clubs with the same short name, such as SDC, get their own rows instead of being shown as one club. Different spellings of the same club name are counted together (see Statistics)

• Federation: Licenses → Member check shows why a member number is accepted or rejected: what the federation’s member register returns for the number, club by club, next to the Vote4Dance accounts with that number or name and how their birth dates compare. Check All clubs to find which club a member belongs to; a club’s page links straight to it. Available to Managers for federations with a member register, such as Dansport Vlaanderen (see Check a member number)
• Federation: New rule One class per category, set per category: per dancer (solo, duo…), each dancer can be registered in only one age group and one level of the category at an event, such as Rising Talent or Ultimate Talent; per team (groups, formations), each team can be in only one class of the category while its dancers may still dance in other teams (see One class per category)
• Public: When your federation uses it, the other classes of a category are locked once one is in your cart or registered, and say which class you or your team are already in (see One class per category)
• Check-in: The desk sees the same reason as a warning and can still add the class

🛠️ Improvements

• Public: When a federation member number is not accepted, the message now says why: no club selected, the number is not in that club’s member list, the membership is not active, the birth date differs from the federation’s member register, or the register could not be reached. Revoked is now called Not active (see Dancer federation status)
• School/Club: The same reasons show when you apply for a licence for a member, with what to do for each (see The member number is not recognised)
• App: New look that matches vote4dance.com — a dark background, a rounded header with the competition name, and a floating tab bar; the Vote4Dance banner now moves
• App: The voting heart bounces under your finger, and holding it fills the ring only while you hold; the ring is a full circle (see Vote for a competitor)
• App: On a long class list, the last class is no longer hidden behind the system navigation bar
• School/Club: Members keeps every row short: Entries this season shows how many competitions and entries a dancer has, such as “5 competitions · 12 entries”, and the next competition they are entered in, instead of one line per competition. Click the dancer for the full list (see Members)
• School/Club: Licenses opens on Active when nothing needs your club, so you see who holds a licence straight away, and the Needs your action card and tab only show when your federation asks clubs to approve licences or something waits for you. Waiting for the federation is now called In progress: applications that need nothing from your club, waiting on the federation’s approval or the dancer’s payment (see Getting a license)
• Manager: Send notifications now marks a notification as sent even when none of the event’s followers can receive a push, so it no longer stays unsent with the button still showing. Pressing it twice no longer sends the push twice, and when sending fails before anyone gets it, you can retry (see Sending)

• Public: My registration — every event you are registered for has a page of its own, with what you still have to do, your classes with their rounds, times and results, and whether your start number has been picked up; you pay, add a class and withdraw from a class there (see My registration)
• Public: You land on My registration after registering or paying, and the event’s Overview, the confirmation email and your account on the day of the event link to it (see Opening it)
• Dancer app: Tapping an event under Profile → Registrations opens My event, with what is left to do, your Vote4Dance ID and your classes; paying, adding a class and withdrawing open the website (see In the Dancer app)
• School/Club: Members shows coaches one row per dancer with this season’s licence, competitors and entries, and how many entries are unpaid. 🛠️ Improvements

• Public: The My competitions tab on the home page has a Create a competition link that opens the new event form (see Event setup)
• Manager: Edit registration shows under Represents which club each dancer competes for in that registration and where it comes from, and the expanded registration row shows that club instead of the club on the dancer’s profile, so you can check a dancer who dances for different clubs in different classes (see Which club a dancer represents)
• Public: Your account lists your events under Registration: Coming up, tagged when something needs you, and Past by year, with Find an event (see All your events)
• Public: Pay now works for classes in an event that runs over several days
• Public: Birth dates from Dansport Vlaanderen’s member register are now always read as the calendar date the register holds. When verifying a federation ID still reports Birthdate does not match federation record for a date one day apart, the date in the register is one day early: keep the correct date on your account and ask your club or the federation to correct the register (see Dancer federation status)
• Public: A class that is locked because of the registration period’s rules, for example a couples class when you have picked a solo competitor, now shows the reason next to the greyed-out Add button, and where to go to fix it (see If you cannot register)
• Public: The Registration tab opens on With partner when the event’s open classes are only for couples, and says why the class list is empty and that Show more reveals the locked classes (see Registering with a partner)
• Public: When you search for a partner’s email and nobody has it, the Create account for partner section explains that you can create their account for them, so they do not need to sign up first (see Create the couple)
• All apps: A failed sign-in says that the email or password is incorrect and suggests Forgot your password? or creating an account, and the sign-in page says “Sign in or create an account to continue.” when you were sent there from another page (see Account creation)
• School/Club: Competitors opens on this season’s competitors. Duos from earlier seasons, such as the ones a dancer brings in by claiming old results, are under Earlier seasons, and each competitor shows whether it is entered and when it last competed. Only approved members’ competitors are listed, and a competitor’s own name leads the row instead of a green tag (see Club admin screens)
• School/Club: Licenses has a season filter, summary cards, one list with status tabs, and approve or decline for several applications at once. Approve only shows where the federation asks clubs to approve licences; before, it showed on every pending application and gave an error (see Getting a license)

• Federation: A round setup can add a point summary after the final to every class it covers (see Round setups)
• Manager: The Round guide fills in Round for those that qualify and Round for non-qualified participants, so a new class is ready to advance as soon as results are in (see Competition setup)
• Supervisor: New Warnings page lists every warning the judges give during the whole event — by round or by club, with which judges gave it — so a scrutineer can follow up with team leaders without opening each round; new warnings are counted on the menu and can be ticked off as seen (see Warnings from the judges)

• Manager: Problems checks every judged round for a panel with someone whose marks count, not only rounds of group classes, and warns about panels with fewer seats than they ask for; warnings are orange, and when only warnings are left the sidebar shows them with an orange count (see Problems)
• Supervisor: In an event with several competitions, the Judges tab lets you choose the competition (see Events with several competitions)
• Manager: The Judges page works on a tablet: classes and their rounds stack on smaller screens, and seats and buttons are bigger on a touch screen

• All apps: The Connection has been re-established. message closes by itself after two seconds instead of staying at the top of the page, and no longer shows when a page first loads
• Manager: A new round can go before a class’s first round — choose Before the first round under Place in class on the Add Round form, for example to add a preliminary when more entries came in than the first round can take; it starts with the first round’s settings and sends its qualifiers on to that round (see Competition setup)
• Manager: A point summary from the Round guide is placed last in the class, in the unscheduled block (see Point summary)
• Federation: Brackets mode can add a redance round, take the top 4 at 6–7 competitors, dance a final of three at 3, and end with a gold and a bronze battle (see Battle class rules)
• Federation: The round setup editor shows how many active classes a setup covers and warns when it covers none, and dances that share a name are shown with what tells them apart, such as “Extrachans (Num To Advance: 3)” (see Round setups)
• Federation: In brackets mode a battle round keeps the match judging its class rule sets, and a redance round without its own judging is judged like the other battles

Formats with duels, lucky loser or hope rounds can be scored right by setting what each round counts as in the new Bonus per round table in the summary’s priority settings, instead of retyping totals. • Manager: A new Separating tied positions section in the Judges guide explains Redance, Side skating, Chief judge and Paper redance, and which chief judge type fits which rules
